The
Staff Of Gelders Bakery
We
employ at present 40 members of staff, some of whom have been with us
for 20years.
Our main man in the bakery is Shaun Scott, he is our Bakery Manager and looks after the day to day running of the bakery. Shaun has been with us since 1987 and is the one we go to for product development and quality control.
On day shift our Team Leader is Mr Alan Dunville and on night shift they are Mr Patrick O'Driscol and Mr Robert Coxon. They work together to ensure the smooth running of both shifts.
Billy Wilkinson is Tony Gelders right hand man. From looking after the vans to covering delivery rounds, he is a valuable member of our team. Billy again is a long term employee, starting with us as a delivery driver in 1988 and working up to be Transport Manager.
In the office we have Shirley & Wendy. Shirley has now worked here for 15 years proving invaluable to Hilary in the office. Shirley is the one to keep on your side as she authorises payments as well as looking after our bigger customer accounts. Managing our smaller customers is Wendy, she came back to us in 1999 having gone to another employer, but she missed us to much! (As much as we missed her!)
Our employees are the backbone of our business. Without them no pies get made, no deliveries delivered, nothing gets cleaned. They are all to numerous to mention here but every one of them has a valuable roll to play in getting a quality product out to you the consumer.
