Alan:-
Alan
Gelder is the founder and senior partner of Gelders Bakery. His forward
thinking and careful financial planning have made us able to weather the
storms of recession and also the effects of BSE in the industry. The reins
of Gelders Bakery are still firmly in his control and he likes to take
a hands on approach to business. He has always been a typical Northern
bloke but recently has exhibited a softer side to his nature after taking
up gardening.
Lillian:-
Until recently Lillian Gelder worked alongside her husband, Alan, in the business. But because of ill health has had to retire. From the early days Lillian was at the forefront of the business, making as well as delivering the pies. But Lillian's first love has always been her faith and given the slightest opportunity will preach till the cows come home!

Tony:-
Tony
Gelder is Alan and Lillian's son. He is the sales manager and also a partner
in Gelders Bakery. Tony is the one to see for ordering, prices, promotions,
marketing etc. One of his specialities is a design service for our customers
to promote our products in their shops, tailored to their needs. But his
first love (after the pies!) is Table Tennis. Always a keen player since
youth he has finally got the time to blossom into playing for England
in the veterans league. Something we are all proud of.
Hilary:-
Hilary is Alan and Lillian's daughter and also a partner in Gelders. Business Administration is Hilary's department. From accounts to payroll, credit management to personnel, all fall under her wing.

Wayne
:-
Wayne is the final partner in Gelders and Hilary's husband. His role in the business has gone from working on the production floor to setting up and managing HACCP, Health & Hygiene, maintenance, repairs and a range of other duties inside the bakery.

Jane
:-
Jane Gelder was Alan's mother and up until 1991 (aged 84) still helped in the bakery selling pies from the back door. Jane passed away peacefully on the 20th March 2004 aged 96 years.She was much loved and will be sadly missed.
